PROVERBS 3: WISDOM BESTOWS WELL-BEING

Proverbs 3
New International Version
(NIV)
Wisdom Bestows Well-Being
3 My son, do not forget my teaching,
but keep my commands in your heart,
2 for they will prolong your life many years
and bring you peace and prosperity.
3 Let love and faithfulness never leave you;
bind them around your neck,
write them on the tablet of your heart.
4 Then you will win favor and a good name
in the sight of God and man.

5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.[a]

7 Do not be wise in your own eyes;
fear the Lord and shun evil.
8 This will bring health to your body
and nourishment to your bones.

9 Honor the Lord with your wealth,
with the firstfruits of all your crops;
10 then your barns will be filled to overflowing,
and your vats will brim over with new wine.

11 My son, do not despise the Lord’s discipline,
and do not resent his rebuke,
12 because the Lord disciplines those he loves,
as a father the son he delights in.[b]

13 Blessed are those who find wisdom,
those who gain understanding,
14 for she is more profitable than silver
and yields better returns than gold.
15 She is more precious than rubies;
nothing you desire can compare with her.
16 Long life is in her right hand;
in her left hand are riches and honor.
17 Her ways are pleasant ways,
and all her paths are peace.
18 She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her;
those who hold her fast will be blessed.

19 By wisdom the Lord laid the earth’s foundations,
by understanding he set the heavens in place;
20 by his knowledge the watery depths were divided,
and the clouds let drop the dew.

21 My son, do not let wisdom and understanding out of your sight,
preserve sound judgment and discretion;
22 they will be life for you,
an ornament to grace your neck.
23 Then you will go on your way in safety,
and your foot will not stumble.
24 When you lie down, you will not be afraid;
when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.
25 Have no fear of sudden disaster
or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked,
26 for the Lord will be at your side
and will keep your foot from being snared.

27 Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due,
when it is in your power to act.
28 Do not say to your neighbor,
“Come back tomorrow and I’ll give it to you”—
when you already have it with you.
29 Do not plot harm against your neighbor,
who lives trustfully near you.
30 Do not accuse anyone for no reason—
when they have done you no harm.

31 Do not envy the violent
or choose any of their ways.

32 For the Lord detests the perverse
but takes the upright into his confidence.
33 The Lord’s curse is on the house of the wicked,
but he blesses the home of the righteous.
34 He mocks proud mockers
but shows favor to the humble and oppressed.
35 The wise inherit honor,
but fools get only shame.

 He did not believe in god, and this site will muddle our understanding of what he actually thought, because so much of it is plainly bogus.

 Einstein was agnostic/atheist. He never said anything along these lines.

 It is an actual Einstein quote. When asked what he meant by it he said "Nature hides her secret because of her essential loftiness, but not by means of ruse." His use of "God" in this quote is the same use that he used in the quote "God does not play dice"

 yes, it's einstein's as he believed in Spinoza's pantheism, the deification of the universe.. but one ca say that he tender to believe in some power holding the parts of the universe together above that of the natural laws..

 If GOD is for US; then WHO can be against US?

 WHY GOD CAN OF COURSE! For WE are TIMED!

 GOD EITHER BE NOTHING MORE THAN THE ETERNAL (from which we are exempt) AND NOT TWO OR THREE; or nothing more than an abstract thought that dies along with the last of us when no longer observers left keeping this debate alive which will come to it's end no other way...?

 U = Pragmatic Competence; not "US" that = Pragmatic Competence

 As all language is assumption based, there is no such thing as 100% Pragmatic Competence between any two participants in a discussion.

 What other word could Einstein use in it's place when trying to find a common ground with those who consider themselves people of "faith"?

 And I can't help but feel, even Jesus, IN HIS OWN THOU ARTFUL DODGER WAY, was trying to accomplish the same effect as Einstein and Spinoza...?

 And it's quite clear to me why they all failed in accomplishing their intent?

Just look at how many "climate change deniers" we still have with us today!

 Worldview shapes morality; but it's intent that determines the reality.

TAROTS CARDS and the SIXTH SENSE MIND MEDIA

I enjoy reading them like TAROTS CARDS.  They never tell me the same story with each reshuffling.  They help me to see perspectives I would have overlooked otherwise.  Express myself in ways I would never have been able to before.  I guess you could say, with a little visual aid getting me started, I'm learning to use the right side of my brain more. Becoming more spiritually aware although left side of my brain still objectively in control.  And I'm becoming more and more convinced, there is no such thing as a God that interferes; nothing more than misinterpretations/misunderstandings just to how powerful our brain as an organ can be when it comes to surviving life.  I've come to understand a grossly underappreciated "SIXTH" sense Eastern Culture s already recognize.  This is the "MIND MEDIA" in addition to the usual five we in the West are already indoctrinated with.  And I can think of no better way of trying to explain this "MIND MEDIA SIXTH SENSE" than by quoting form the BIBLE.

 "I CAN OF MY OWN SELF DO NOTHING:  as I hear, I judge:  AND MY JUDGEMENT IS JUST; NOT BECAUSE I SEEK MY OWN WILL, BUT THE WILL OF THY FATHER WHO HAS SENT ME."
John 5:30

This is nothing more than pure human psychology each and everyone of us repeat thousands and thousands times over and over everyday on a collective unconsciousness level automatically without consciously having to think about it.  It basically our brains knowing where our feet (among many many other things) are at all times.  If we didn't have a part of our brain automatically making assumptions for us, we would get no where; nothing done.

But Jesus just happened to have had one flaw I do not have;  he wasn't omniscient enough.  Had he thought it through more; he should have said, "As I sense", "not as I hear," then followed up with, "I judge."

And I can only suppose even this day and age, still, it would take someone with a physical handicap such as my hearing impairment to fully appreciated the significance of the "SIXTH SENSE MIND MEDIA" but himself able understanding only after many many years  of having privileges/surpluses here and there denied others allowing him to be reasonable objective without having to conform to society out of necessity surviving, combined with being raised by two parents both reasonable objective in their approach to life as well; one a medical doctor and the other a nurse with me eventually becoming a veterinarian.  If we were Christians at all, we were Christians only by default; the company we kept.

And the the medical professions, surprising learned the hard way as well,  are not the same, either.  Being a veterinarian...IS...much closer to that of being the pastor of a protestant church.  I'm not able finding much comparison with that of a Priest.  One's faith, the same as with animals and pets owned by man no matter how convinced themselves these pets are extended family members, come with a price limit.  And this is not the same as believing in God the same as one truly believing in God fearing nothing else.

But we have to start somewhere with our language.  And the bottomline assumption I have made is that the word "GOD" nothing more than and abstract symbol made up of three individual abstract symbols each having a long as well as interesting history within themselves as to how they came to be the shapes we recognized them to be today.  This histories will never be reclaimed enough to be understood how these four symbols came to be; therefore the conjectures infinismal.

Long ago this word, "GOD", should have been rendered obsolete.

And this is what I truly believed a man known as Jesus of Nazareth tried to do.

And he has failed.

JESUS HAD HIS MINUTE!  NOW I WANT A TRY AT CRACKING THIS KOOKIE!

JUST THINK OF IT AS "NEGATIVE THEOLOGY:  NO SUCH THING AS HATE BEING THE SHORT END OF THE SAME LOOP IT MUST SHARE WITH LOVE!

 "When traveling from "Point Negative" to "Point Positive" on a train know as "casual sex", one must first stop at a place known as "Don't Know" in order to "get tested"; how then does one get back to "Point Negative" from this place known as "Don't Know" while still traveling on a train that a "one way" ticket?"
>
> Here another one of mine:
>
> "I can honestly tell you that I have never tested positive.  The decision to assume I'm negative is yours alone.  Bottom line, I will not go beyond a level of risk I'm comfortable with; will not go beyond yours if... YOU DON'T LET ME."
>
> Of course this only works between two men; even two women.
>
> Let's be honest with ourselves, although nature has made up the difference in other ways, women are still the weaker sex.  It's amazing women didn't start wearing pants (as opposed to a dress which can be easily hiked up)  much longer ago than they did;  but then again, competing with each other the only way they could for the longest of time, maybe they asked for it...?
>
> Of course I do not agree with this justification used by men, even women; but with more and more women moving into the workforce competing with men for jobs, while these men still expecting/expected to present an image as head of household by the population at large....
>
> You see where I'm going with this?
>
> Not done yet!
>
> Also with people retiring from the work force at much older age, even working right up to death; combined with more and more adult children moving back in with their elderly parents to be taken care of themselves instead of the other way around...
>
> See where I'm going with this?
>
> So...
> whatever it is you heard about me:
>
> offensive/inflammatory language, bipolar-ism, involuntary admittance to Georgia Regional Hospital, harassing the elderly couple living across the street from me, even jailed...
>
> It's not bipolar if good reasons.
>
> And this is why, most especially, will not let Bob (GEORGE ROBERT GARY, SR. ThD) and his wife Janet Gary get a way with their use of perniciousness and prevarications; combined with Bob's talent for the use of emotive language.  Not when, up until Oct. 12, 2012 at least anyway, both still driving their own cars.
>
> Here's another one of mine:
>
> "Never wise one half of two equals(BOB the HUSBAND of JANET his WIFE) taking advantage the upper hand; the other "ABEL" (me...Simply Jim: Radical Fairy the Methodist Fag) although fair, not always raising two objections(what would i have to gain taking up fists with an eighty year old minister whose extended education becoming Doctor of Theology taught him how to manipulate human psychology.)"
>
> If the lesson to be learned from "Adam" og "Eva" expulsion from the "Garden of Eden" is to be "SIN" = "Knowledge";  then "KNOWLEDGE" = "SIN" as well.  You can't have it both way; not this digital day and age.  So it become how one uses their knowledge.
>
>
> One can gain knowledge by triangulation off the sins of other; which is exactly what I've have done with my neighbors, most especially those of Bob and Janet Gary, along with the sins of  their son also a pastor, Rev. Bert, Jr.
>
>
> After all is said and done, the sad facts remains:  being a priest, pastor, doctor, etc...., is just another job.
>
> There is no such thing as free from love of money.
>
And....

> "Doing the right thing for the wrong reason has no moral worth."
>
>
>
> Simply Jim:
>
> One Pearl
> (One pearl once belonging to just one woman...my mother)
>
> Total Pig
> (By default, all women are PIGS, too; in America at least, anyway.  Just because we now call them SOW doesn't mean they ever stopped being a PIG!)
>
> Anti-Christ
> (One no longer believing in the divinity of Jesus of Nazareth.  Although you have gotten it down to an art that sounds otherwise; Christianity is still an exclusionary religion.)
>
> W.A.S.P
> (Due to my first eighteen years raised as a Methodist, plus due to cognitive bias of all kinds from both side of the fences; have always been, and will always be... W.A.S.P)
>
> "CHRIST" vs. "ANTI-CHRIST"
>
> They be one and the same.
>
> E = mc3
>
> Not a typo.

ST. JOSEPH: "Zeal for your house will consume me" (Ps 69:9) | Thoughts of a parish priest…

 "Zeal for your house will consume me" (Ps 69:9) | Thoughts of a parish priest…: Pope Benedict XVI explained, “In Joseph, faith is not separated from action. His faith had a decisive effect on his actions. The life of St. Joseph, lived in obedience to God’s word, is an eloquent sign for all the disciples of Jesus. His example helps us to understand that it is only by complete submission to the will of God that we become effective workers in the service of his plan to gather together all mankind into one family.”

In 1889, Pope Leo XIII said, “It is fitting and most worthy of Joseph’s dignity that, in the same way that he once kept unceasing watch over the holy family of Nazareth, so now does he protect and defend with his heavenly patronage the Church of Christ.” We look to St. Joseph, a simple and ordinary man, and from his saintly example we learn how to respond virtuously in faith to the many challenges that we face in our everyday lives.

A recent article I read pointed out three things that we can learn from St. Joseph. The first is the “treasure of silence.” How many words of St. Joseph, the man closest to Jesus, are there recorded in the Bible? Not a single one. But it is in his silence that God speaks to us. We hear in the psalms, “Be still and know that I am God” (Ps 46:10). We are all busy and know how much noise there is in our lives. St. Joseph teaches us to be quiet and listen to God in the silence of our hearts.

The second point is that “actions speak louder than words.” When God wanted to communicate something to St. Joseph, he spoke to him in his dreams. Most of us would say that there is only so much credibility that one can place on dreams, but for St. Joseph, he was certain that it was God’s will. Sacred Scripture tells us that when he awoke, “he did as the angel of the Lord commanded him” (Matt 1:24). God wasn't just asking him to be a better person, to pray more or to do random acts of kindness, but was asking for total trust. St. Joseph doesn't question or ponder how to respond, he just does it. Here we see St. Joseph embracing what Jesus would teach many years later; “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven” (Mt 7:21).

The final thing that St. Joseph teaches us is how to embrace “grace under pressure.” Just think about the stressful situations in which St. Joseph finds himself: his betrothed wife is found to be pregnant and he knows that he is not the father; as his wife is about to give birth they are called to travel a long distance to Bethlehem; early in Jesus’ life, they are told to flee to Egypt; and let’s not forget that he and Mary lost God’s only Son for three whole days when he was only 12 years old. In all of these situations, we see that Joseph, a simple carpenter, relied on God’s grace to handle difficulty and challenges with firm trust and faith in God.

I AM YHWH I CHANGE NOT

  1. We've got your metal. We've got your concrete. We've got your wood. They all expand and contract at different rates.
  2.  Think of your brain like the hard drive in your personal pc. That's a lot of heat being created in the process. Well our brain produces a lot of heat storing those memories (souls).
  3.  So...you might as well call this heat (memories) mass.
  4.  Like Einstein once said, if he said it at all?, "once you can picture our universe as matter (stored memories as we go alone along together til the day we die) expanding into nothing(cranium / womb / home / neighborhood / city / county / state / country / continent / hemisphere /globe, etc) that is something...wearing stripes with plaid is nothing.
  5.  There must first be a common interest before there is a conflict;
  6. something different before there is an advantage.
  7.  We all (animals, vegetables, minerals)
  8. compete for the same space.
  9.  And I cannot help but find it strange,
  10. how with those people of faith,
  11. something eerily missing from this equation.
  12. It's called cognitive dissonance/dissonance reduction.
  13.  "Jesus died for our sins so that we may live;
  14.  and whosoever believes in him shall not perish
  15. but have everlasting life."
  16.  Different way of saying the same thing,
  17. "one person's trauma
  18.  is another's lost of innocence.
  19.  We cannot become wealthy
  20. without making someone else poor.
  21. We cannot run a linear system
  22. on a finite planet
  23. without taking homes away
  24. from other species innocent;
  25.  in the end doing ourselves in
  26. long before our sun runs out of it's fuel.
  27.  God is just your guilty conscience;
  28. if even having one.

"I can of my own self do nothing

{as I sense, I judge}

and my judgement is just;
not because I seek my own will,
but the will of they...
