THEORIES OF A JUST WAR: THE NEW CLASS..?

"THE NEW CLASS"

Now in its 11th year, the class was formed to explore issues of faith in professional life. During that time class members have read and discussed all kinds of books and articles on contemporary issues and on the Bible, ethics, Methodism, politics, ecclesiology, international affairs, other faiths (especially Islam),
and
theories of a just war.

The class this year will engage several topics and contemporary issues from biblical, ethical, theological, political, personal, pastoral, and international perspectives. Conducted in seminar style, the class relies on reading, reflection, discussion, and broad class participation in leadership and conversation.

The resource person for the New Class is Dr. Theodore R. Weber, Professor Emeritus of Christian Social Ethics at the Candler School of Theology, Emory University. The class also benefits from presentations by other members of the class and by guest speakers from the Glenn/Emory/Candler community and from other interests/organizations. Visitors and new members are most welcome. The class meets in room 422. For more information, contact Ted or Cindy Runyon at libcgr@emory.edu or 404-636-7881."

I don't understand why I can't be available to participate in Glenn's theological discussions.

I've already tried twice...
only to be slapped by a restraining order from Bob and Janet Gary shortly after the first attempt.
I'm just waiting for an invitation from Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church now.

Is it not wrong for Glenn Memorial to continue pretending and acting
as if believing
they are not already involved?

Although I do refer to myself as an adult being an atheist,
even going so far as referring to myself as an anti-Christ;

as the first eighteen years of my life was entrusted to the care
of
First United Methodist Church of Prescott, Arkansas...

as stuff put into our heads when a kid never really goes away...

have always been and will always be Methodist till the day I die...

no less then Jesus ever stopped being a Jew.

So...
what are they so afraid of?

Being located on the campus of Emory University, a liberal arts and science institute...
they should be behaving more as intellectual than they currently are...
